Professional email address and, where publicly available, telephone number;
Beats covered, topics of interest, recent articles or content, and editorial preferences;

Direct exchanges with the individual (e.g., email correspondence, business cards, requests for samples or interviews);
Publicly available professional sources (publication mastheads, bylines, professional websites, LinkedIn, conference programs);
Third-party media intelligence platforms that aggregate professional contact information for the public relations industry (such as MuckRack);
Our clients and other professional partners.
2.4 Information We Collect About Clients and Their Personnel
When we provide services to a client, we receive and store business contact information, project materials, and other information necessary to perform the engagement. This information is handled in accordance with our agreement with that client.
2.5 Sensitive Information
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, government identifiers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, health information, or other categories of sensitive personal information except where strictly necessary for employment, payroll, or tax purposes with respect to our own employees and contractors. We do not collect or process sensitive personal information about media or industry contacts.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide our Services to clients, including identifying and contacting media and industry contacts on their behalf, coordinating product samples and interviews, and reporting on outreach activity;
Communicate with you about inquiries, business opportunities, project work, and our newsletter (where you have subscribed);
Operate, maintain, and improve the Site, including analytics and security;
Comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and protect our legal interests;
Maintain business records for accounting, tax, contractual, and audit purposes.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising.
3.1 Legal Basis for Processing Media and Industry Contacts (Applicable to Individuals in the EU, EEA, and UK)
Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process professional contact information about media and industry contacts on the basis of our legitimate interests in conducting public relations activities on behalf of our clients. We have determined that:
The information processed is professional contact information (not private personal data);
Receiving relevant communications about products, services, and stories is reasonably expected by individuals in the relevant professional roles;
The processing is necessary for the lawful operation of public relations services; and
We provide a clear, accessible mechanism for individuals to object to or opt out of processing at any time (see Section 5).
You have the right to object to this processing at any time, and we will honor that objection promptly.
4. How We Share Information
We share personal information in the following limited circumstances:
With our clients, in connection with the services we provide to them (for example, sharing media outreach reports that include the names of journalists contacted and their responses);
With service providers and vendors who help us operate our business, including Squarespace (website hosting), Google Workspace (email and document storage), Airtable (database and operations), MuckRack (media intelligence), Justworks (payroll and HR), QuickBooks Online (accounting), and similar professional tools. These providers are contractually obligated to handle personal information only as we instruct;
With professional advisors, such as our attorneys, accountants, and insurers, where reasonably necessary;
In connection with a corporate transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business;
As required by law, including in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other lawful requests from government authorities, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
We do not sell personal information to third parties and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Your Rights and Choices
5.1 Opt Out of Pitch and Outreach Communications
If you are a media or industry contact and you no longer wish to receive outreach from us — either on behalf of all of our clients or on behalf of a specific client — you may opt out at any time by emailing privacy@isetta.co with the email address you would like removed, your name and the scope of your request (all outreach, or outreach about a specific client only). A subject line such as "Opt-Out Request" helps us route your message quickly.
Once we receive your opt-out request, we will acknowledge it within ten (10) business days and process it within ten (20) business days.
5.2 Access, Correction, and Deletion
You may request to:
Access the personal information we hold about you;
Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date;
Delete the personal information we hold about you;
Receive a copy of your personal information in a portable format.
To make a request, email privacy@isetta.co with a brief description of your request and the email address (or other identifier) we should use to locate your information. We will acknowledge your request within two (2) business days and respond within thirty (30) days, or sooner where required by applicable law. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
5.3 California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act:
The right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and (if applicable) sell or share;
The right to delete personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions;
The right to correct inaccurate personal information;
The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law);
The right to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that would trigger this right);
The right to be free from discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.
To exercise these rights, email privacy@isetta.co. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we will require reasonable proof of authorization.

6. Cookies and Analytics
Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies provided by Squarespace, our website platform. These include:
Strictly necessary cookies required for the Site to function;
Analytics cookies that help us understand how visitors use the Site (page views, session duration, referring sources);
Preference cookies that remember your settings.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies, delete cookies, or be notified when a cookie is set. Refusing cookies may affect the functionality of the Site.
We do not use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising or for the sale or sharing of personal information.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, and longer where required by applicable law (for example, tax or contractual record-keeping obligations).
For media and industry contacts, we retain professional contact information for as long as it remains professionally relevant. We periodically review and remove records that are no longer current (for example, contacts who have left the industry or whose professional roles have changed in ways that make our outreach no longer relevant). If you submit an opt-out or deletion request, we will remove your information promptly in accordance with Section 5.
Sampling-related information (such as shipping addresses) is retained only for the duration reasonably necessary to complete and document the sampling activity, and is then deleted from our active records.
8. Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access. These include access controls on our systems, encryption of data in transit and at rest where supported by our service providers, and policies governing how our personnel may access and use personal information.
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately at privacy@isetta.co.
9. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States, and the personal information we collect is processed in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that information you provide to us will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have data protection laws different from those of your country.
Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to ensure that international transfers comply with applicable data protection requirements.
10. Children's Privacy
The Site and our Services are not directed to children under the age of sixteen (16), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under sixteen, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we may have collected such information, please contact us at privacy@isetta.co.
11. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party before providing personal information.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as a banner on the Site or an email to affected individuals).
